Dashboard Week – 5th Day

We've reached the end. It's the last day of dashboard week and also our final training day. The task for this day was quite enjoyable. We were required to design our own resumes using a Tableau Dashboard! This task had two parts. The first part involved creating a table containing the resume information. The method of crafting this data depended on how one intended to utilize it for the dashboard and the particular details of interest. In my view, the presentation of the dashboard can reveal a lot about an individual, much like our traditional CVs and cover letters do. However, it was quite challenging to visualize the dashboard in line with my vision. To craft a fancy CV dashboard that truly reflects my personality, I believe I'd need more brainstorming time.

Nevertheless, I did look at several creative inspirations and formed a clear idea of what I wanted to accomplish for the final day. I managed to deliver a dashboard on schedule, but I would also like to further refine it, such as by adding logos inside circles to represent the companies I've worked for. It was another productive day, made even more memorable as it marked the conclusion of the training phase for cohort 5 at DSDE.
