I really liked the dahsboard week even though it was very stressful but on the other hand after finishing one day it was done. Each day a different topic made it interesting, one day web scraping, another day Power BI and then another day Tableau. It was really interesting to see what am able to do within couple hours. But even if we had a full day I always underestimated the time.
Sometimes I thought there is so much time but when I started working, after 1-2 hours I realized there wasn’t enough to archieve my goals I wanted to reach. So, I think my biggest learning is accepting that I cannot always produce best solutions and sometimes, in a view of narrow time frame, you have to make it quick and dirty and honestly I really didn’t like my products. Whenever I thought this is a really bad product I was surprised that at least someone liked it.
I remember the first day where I spent too much time to scrape the data but that step was fundamental to go over to the next step so I somehow had to get a solution. I got crazy in between but in the end I found a solution and I had only 1.5 hours to come across with a satisfied dashboard. I really thought that it wasn’t worth presenting it but everyone was fully satiesfied and I probably underestimated myself.
