Born in Venezuela and raised in Ireland, Alvaro is a data engineering consultant with over two years of experience in the field.
With a background of four years as an advisor in the financial services industry, he prides himself on his ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in high-pressure environments. Desiring a more technical role and witnessing the effects that data fluency can have on an organisation led him to pursue a career in data.
In January 2026, he completed a course where he learned to develop and orchestrate ELT pipelines in line with best practice using the following tech stack:
