Fotiana is a results-driven consultant with a background in Biomedical Science, and a bilingual language repertoire in Mandarin and Greek. She launched her data career by teaching herself R for an academic project on SARS-CoV2, which showcased her technical agility and commitment to tackling high-stakes data problems from the very start.
Fotiana has built extensively on her pre-existing foundation in SQL and Tableau which she started while working full time in the Biotech industry. She has developed strong skills in data preparation, visualisation and story-telling. As a consultant, Fotiana focuses on maximizing operational efficiency by turning "data noise" into actionable insights. Her track record includes streamlining workflows for the UK’s largest steel stockholder that achieved substantial time savings in return. Additionally, she led a 12-person team in executing a complex data migration for a top Salesforce partner, providing strategic guidance on data hosting architecture and best practices. Beyond her technical experience, Fotiana is a dedicated educator who has trained over 15 professionals and regularly shares her expertise through her data visualisation blogs.
