Building a Dashboard in One Day

Today was the first time we had to create a dashboard in just one day. We received the requirements at 9 a.m., and by 4 p.m. we had to present it. The topic was to build our own CV dashboard, and I’d like to share what I worked on.

It was really fun to create something that wasn’t a business dashboard for a change. It also gave me the chance to try new techniques — for example, I learned how to build half-circle charts. I also realized there are many more things I could add, like interactions between tools, skills, workplaces, or study locations.

In the end, it was definitely a challenge: so little time, so many ideas, and the constant need to prioritize what’s actually feasible within the deadline.

But overall, it was a great learning experience.
